In the southwest of Bolivia, there is the only brilliant natural spot in Bolivia that can be seen from space: the Uyuni Salt Flat. It is the biggest salt desert in the world, and a place you can’t stop visiting. On rainy days, it becomes a natural mirror, and it’s hard to separate earth from heaven in this surreal landscape.

The Valley of Rocks: These immense rock formations have resisted the erosion of wind, and were shaped as diverse sculptures. An amazing example and the most recognized by tourists is the Stone Tree.

The landscape shifts colors and textures as you pass through this attractive place. Many species in their natural habitat can be seen: llamas, vicunas and all kinds of birds including three species of flamencos that are kept in protected areas inside the great “Laguna Colorada”.
